Renee does a fabulous job of bringing interesting speakers and events to the organization. She is very committed and really focuses on the the needs of the members. If you are a member I challenge you to bring someone with you to the meetings and if you are not a member I would encourage you to come to a meeting to see what we are all about. I was a busy stay-at-home-mom of two little kids. Even though I love being here for my kids, I wanted to make a difference in lives outside of my home as well, as well as bring income into my home. While I had a company that I had loved for years and was ready to start going to work with, I wasn't sure how to really "get out there" and make things happen. Then, a friend let me know that she was helping to start a networking group that was geared for women -- and it had childcare! I attended that very first meeting of the group, now called "National Association of W.O.M.E.N.", and have been actively involved and growing as a person and business-owner ever since! From meetings, I have learned strategies I can apply on a daily basis in my business to help me be more efficient in my operations. I now have new vendors and customers for healthy events such as birthday parties, health fairs and Girl Scout field trip outings. By having National Association of W.O.M.E.N. co-host my Kids Night Out Event, I was able to gain FREE exposure on TV regarding how we are helping families to be healthy, active, and have fun! Not only has National Association of W.O.M.E.N. helped me to connect with key people with similar aspirations, it has provided me with a platform to share my message &passion to help others improve their health and lives through fitness, exergaming and nutrition.
